Lake Broadway is a 23-acre lake where visitors can ride on the lake by jet boat or paddle boat. Broadway at the Beach even has its own lake. Here you’ll find the latest trends and iconic brands as well as specialty boutiques selling unique treasures from the Myrtle Beach area. Located on a 350-acre property, Broadway at the Beach is the most popular shopping and entertainment district in the Grand Strand. Here are eight of the top places to go shopping. The Grand Strand is full of indoor and outdoor malls, shopping villages, markets and boutiques, all with their own unique styles. Also, why not spring for a paid music streaming service so we don’t have to listen to all those commercials? This is a small suggestion-on the whole this is a great tour that is well worth the price.Whether you’re looking for high-end designer labels or discounted deals, Myrtle Beach is as much of a beach destination as it is a shopping destination. The crew was super friendly and knowledgeable, though they could’ve turned up the PA just a tad to hear the narration better from different parts of the ship. ![]() We also saw plenty of egrets, herons, and a bald eagle (from a distance) as we navigated the inlet out to the ocean, and the crew brought around a really cool set of tiger shark jaws to look at. We got there plenty early, which was fine because we enjoyed looking at the tiny crabs crawling in the mud by the dock, but there was ample seating on board, and plenty of places to walk around to see the dolphins from all angles. We went on the 10am which was perfect timing for lunch after, and we got a nice long look at a big old dolphin pod breaching out of the water one after another for a good 15 min or so. Totally worth the 40-minute drive from Myrtle. Note, what you pay for may also be more than expected.ĪMAZING, 100% authentic Carolina cultural experience, from the dock, to the captain, to the original Calabash seafood right next door (definitely not to be missed-I recommend Captain Nance’s-see my Google review of that restaurant for more details). In the words of another family on the way out "You get what you pay for". If not you will continue to get upset patrons. If it is not a good fishing day and you know we will be disappointed then cancel. The captain made a comment that it is fishing not catching. The current was so strong that it was hard to find bottom because it would just keep pulling. Okay, small we can deal with as long as we are catching something. The response was we will not be fishing too off shore due to waters being choppy and the bass may be small. People were asking questions one was what type of fish will we be catching. When we asked what type of fish it was we were told it was a kid as a joke. The real fish bait is the small silver fish you can catch with a net cut in thirds. If you want real fish bait that will be another $6.00. Oh we supply dried up squid covered in salt. ![]() First, they are the epidimy of nickle and dime! A dollar for a stringer and another for a towel. We arrive the lady up front was nice and polite. We booked one location and was changed instantly causing confusion. This is hands down the worst experience we've ever had. Now we go as much as we can, especially, when we have someone to spend time with our kiddo. My husband and I fell in love with deep sea fishing in Daytona on our honeymoon. Overall we did enjoy the boat ride, but definitely wouldn’t rave about it. Several people came in after us asking about youth shirts as well. The rest were fishing shirts for Little River. They also only had size XL dolphin tour shirts available. She also was handling money with the same gloves she was handling the food with.Īlso, quite disappointed that we ordered 4 shirts when we booked our cruise prior to arriving and after the boat ride was over we went to the gift shop to be told by the lady that they do not carry youth shirts. The lady working the snack counter could have been a little more tentative to her job and seemed to be more interested in counting the tip jar. ![]() We were able to see some dolphins, a sea turtle and lots of jellyfish. Her and the captain had a good sense of humor as well which made it fun. We had fun and I think the lady guide who spoke on the boat telling us about the area and what we were seeing was GREAT! She was very knowledgeable and friendly. I booked a Dolphin Tour for myself and my 3 children(12&under). ![]()
